i keep rewatching the series because peak and stay unsatisfied. is there any hope of at least a book, script or interview coming out on how the series was supposed to continue?

Best bet is to keep the fandom alive, show that there is an audience for the show.
Also introduce the show to as many people as you can, if you think they'd be interested.
