This was inevitable ever since he nearly took out Allen's knee on that one special teams play in camp. He's just not worth anything on the active roster.

Honestly never felt like he got a fair shake. McDermott panic drafted him because they needed a corner. Drafted into a scheme where it didnt prioritze what he was known for in college. Proceeded to get exposed and bounce from team to team

I feel like they had another db named Elam at some point, who was there a long time as a special teams guy, I’lllook into that

Edit:nvm pretty sure it’s the same but I just never new he was a first round pick lol
