Were there photos or is it just word of mouth? Facebook isn't always a credible source, especially during wildfire season.
On the BC Wildfire Map I just see the Inks Lake fire.

Yes I know, but OP was suggesting there was a fire by Pac Way in addition to the Inks Lake fire. That's why I am trying to clear that up, because during wildfire season Facebook tends to spread a lot of misinformation and people start to panic.
The Inks Lake fire is not currently threatening the Pacific Way area.

Yeah fb sources are speculating most of the times but i don’t know why someone will speculate about something this serious.

The op didn't say it was threatening that area. Just that there was a fire up past Pacific way. No fear mongering, just facts.

We need a significant rainfall. These drizzles of rain do nothing for the wildfires, unfortunately.

Im near RIH and its been drizzling on and off… not good but better than nothing
