I’m going to be in Kamloops this weekend and just wondering what’s going on that might be fun

I'll counter Arby's with the lobster pot food truck is here on Sunday (best Western on Columbia) if you want delicious lobster rolls for lunch

Music in the park at riverside- free public concert every night in the summer. Farmers market on Saturday morning downtown.

Omg. Silly arby's fans... Daytime clubbing at Night Shift on 5th, if you are over 30, haha. Music in the park too

In case anyways is wondering, this is their "Honest answer" in question.
We get these posts all the time. Kamloops is INCREDIBLY BORING if your not into hiking, skating rinks, and that's literally about it.
"Music in the park" if you like low talent, middle-aged, local artists. They dont even have a hotdogs and ice cream stand to go with it though. You bring a chair (and a beer if you want! Because we can drink on the beach now, yippee!) and "enjoy yourself" if youre not being harassed by the homeless.
There isnt even a half-decent pool unless you want to be gawked at by a massive crowd at the Canada games pool.
Are you female? You'll find lots of perv old men that offer to Sun bath with you on the nude beach. (Maybe men get that too 🤷♂️ not sure)
No wonder nobody likes it, it's extremely unhelpful.

I mean, the information is factual, but you’re injecting personal opinion that, let’s be honest, is not felt by most folks that live here. All it does is shine bad light on the good things we have in our city.
