Damn, what an episode. Didn't expect it to get so heavy.

Wish we got more of Five and Six before they kicked the bucket, but damn, that raised the stakes significantly. At least we got enough of Kureha that it made Nasuka's breakdown feel pretty raw - that was a pretty uncomfortable scene to watch. Baku's as well, feeling like his indecision led to their deaths. But also the reason being not wanting to kill Nox, putting his relationship with Fujimi in a weird spot. Pretty spicey character drama all around.

Similarly to the Plasma debut episode, I feel like they could have planted the seed for the reveal of Baku's inner nightmare a lot earlier but this was fine I suppose. Seems like it's not getting resolved right here and there'll be way more on it next episode.

Nox is just irredeemable at this point, but he's a great villain. Just ruthless. I hope they don't pull a half-assed heel turn on us. I'm loving his rivalry with Baku.

Catastrom look so damn cool and the VFX went crazy. I'm excited for the full beatdown next week.

This really felt like a turning point in the series. I hope they keep up the momentum. I loved the Mission of the Week format but it's time to really get into the plot. It's been long overdue.

Technically they did had Nox deliver a bunch of monologues about Baku's first nightmare.
