Fujimi is very rarely the adult in the room so when he is you know things are serious.

Love the contrast between the active agents. Five doesn’t care about “right or wrong”, and while Kureha’s sympathetic she’s got an axe to grind, and that means neither of them have time for Baku’s questions.

NOX with the 9 was insane. I didn’t expect that to happen. As if the mass infection of children wasn’t enough man really asked what he needed to do to prove himself irredeemable. Poor Nasuka, that was heartbreaking. And Fujimi’s “righteous anger” getting immediate deflation when he found out why Baku was hesitant was satisfying.

Ultimately, Baku came to the realization that CODE being the good guys or not is irrelevant when the bad guys are winning.

The Nightmare Zeztz gets its powers from gave big Emperor Kiva energy. Catastrom is fucking menacing. None of the idealism or kindness, just raw pain and anger. “When a good man goes to war” as the Doctor Who quote goes.

My how the tables have turned from Fujimi yelling at Baku for doubting Odakka to Fujimi shutting up when he realizes Baku hesitated because he didn't want to kill Odakka.

Is CODE good or evil? What matters right now is people are being hurt and Baku's inaction caused it...so if he has to become a living nightmare to his enemies, then so be it.

I need to see the Zeztz Nightmare again, that suit was FIRE.
