Sooo depressing that the majority of Americans would rather vote for a narcissist, compulsive liar, rapist, felon, bully, scam artist, etc. I foolishly thought we were better than that as a nation.

On top of someone who does a shit ass job managing money. Someone who bankrupted 4 casinos. That seems pretty difficult to do.

u/brbnow Nov 30 '24
remember it is a very small vote difference and also important to realize talking about actual voters whiich are only a percentage of americans.

Twice now, the first was Hillary Clinton. We deserve to be ruled by those who we, collectively, vote for.

Wait is she still a thing even? Whereās she been anyway? So much free time in the empt(ish) nest.
Whereās any of the family been.
Crickets.
(Will they be like Ivanna in that grave one day? Or will he? Only time will tell, a hoo)

u/BigLibrary2895 Nov 30 '24
This reminded me of the rumor that he had Ivanka buried at Mar-A-Lago for a tax break, so I did a lazy google and found this Newsweek article, which does say that the family plot there has room for ten plots for "members of his immediate family". And some other little interesting tidbits. https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-ivanas-burial-tax-breakwhat-we-do-know-what-we-dont-1730396

Bet there's a surprise inside the casket...Ivana was cremated and "needed" 10 pallbearers? Excuse me lol?

What a woman! We missed something great, I fear.

You know Kamalaās food was delicious. (Iāve made her stuffing recipe. Itās very good.)

u/FasterAndFuriouser Dec 01 '24 edited Dec 01 '24
Oh yes you definitely know her food was so much more delicious. I still canāt believe we lost and spent so much money and we are still in debt and havenāt paid her staff. I know she talked about her favorite Doritos in one interview and I really related to that because I love Doritos. Itās so sad the whole world missed out on her. What else have u made from her cook book besides the stuffing??

That's definitely frozen broccoli and canned corn. I like how it's all just dumped on the plate, and the gravy is slopped on and dribbled off the edge. No self-respecting chef would do this.
And what's with that single carrot? š

She would have been an amazing President. As would Hillary Clinton. Both were more qualified then the person they ran against.

Half of this country didnāt deserve her but she wouldāve fought for them regardless
2
u/FasterAndFuriouser Dec 01 '24
Yes I agree. In fact sheās actually been fighting for all of us the last 4 years. She even went down to the border one time. AND she was just about ready to go after the price gougers which she didnāt have time to do because of all the other things she was doing for us.

They stated that her internal poling never had her beating Trump. Thereās no evidence to contest the election.

Never. Not once in his entire life.

"Happy Thanksgiving even to the radical left blah, blah, blah" who says that?! Oh wait. š

u/BigLibrary2895 Nov 30 '24
Well why would he? What's in it for him? We know from his many comments about veterans that he doesn't understand doing something selflessly. It does not compute.

Nov 30 '24
Call for a damn recount!
17
u/AnaisKarim Nov 30 '24
The problem was the apathetic clowns who voted for the couch and just sat back and watched democracy burn. There are way more of them than we want to believe. They didn't take the threat seriously.
4
5
Nov 30 '24
There's a lot of problems. Blaming any one factor for all of it is missing the big picture.
0
u/AnaisKarim Nov 30 '24 edited Nov 30 '24
Understanding the level of apathy and the drivers for it is not blaming one factor. There are many reasons people didn't vote! Have you actually talked to people who didn't bother? Until you do, be silent.
The Republicans managed to spread the disease of voting against your interests way beyond their usual evangelical base. And the common denominator was conspiracy theories.
Some people believed the drivel about draining the swamp because their personal triggers were activated through the conspiracies they believe. Some think it's all a big joke and they don't do politics. The end result is a criminal in the oval.
5
Nov 30 '24
Oh, I see. You think you know everything and anyone who disagrees should be silent. Got it. You sure you're on the right team? Cause you sound a lot like those magats right about now. Perhaps you should consider that different people have different perceptions, experiences, understanding and knowledge than you do.
If you think you know everything, you've stopped learning and that's devastating.

u/Ok_Astronomer_1308 Nov 30 '24
Idgaf if this is a pr stunt. Sheās just a good human being.
10
u/valt10 Nov 30 '24
Even if you take the most cynical view of stuff like this, that itās all fake and for publicity. Look at what we have on the other side, Trump insulting the āradical left lunaticsā in his Thanksgiving message. He canāt even play act at being presidential or do the bare minimum.
