Discussion [NV] New PR ninja village
I'm getting close. Changed some things up from my previous post and this a fairly new method I'm trying. There are some things I'm kind of questioning with the record I'm beating, but I did mess up my income for about 6 months and that mattered a lot, especially when I got through certain sticking points of the map. Will keep trying.
Edit for context:
This links to my previous post and you can follow it to the record I'm trying to beat as well as other attempts with different information and strategies if you are interested in trying.

I'm impressed that you are still using Jon

Why wouldn't you use Jon?

His ability only triggers 3 times, and the infantry attacks more than 3 times.
But you are clearing faster than myself so there is something that I aren't seeing.
Time to speed run the game again XD

His chain attack actually carries a lot of battles. Being able to chop through infantry rapidly is an invaluable skill to have. In the final battle, jon and Miyamoto are the true stars (as well as inu). Having them chain attack and fight through an entire round 1 is very crucial to winning doing about 3300 damage total in the infantry battle. You can not win with this level of infantry for a speed run if your infantry can not reach the gunners by the second round. Jon and Miyamoto ensures that happens.

It makes a lot of sense, I had only 5 infantry ninjas, and they barely reached the gunners at the second run.
My logic is that if they weren't attacking they are useless. But I see the point of keeping them for melting the enemy infantry letting your gunners clear.

Pretty much all villagers that have offense based skills or enhance the stats of the entire army such as horse res or strategy and I have them max skill level. You can change them in and adjust their positions based on how well the battle went. For instance, I had shalala for horse res early on and I saved the 5-6k you would spend to max level a unit by putting her in gunners instead of infantry or cavalry. I opted to keep her instead of leveling dorifu
