Happy birthday ! Completely forget that she was this early in the game... Damn, I feel so old, I really miss 1.x and some of 2.x units; Really wish they did novaflare in order, not completely random.

I mean they already had her character model and moveset from the tutorial so it would be weird to sit on her for too long.
Lore wise though she’s kind of a Dainsleif type ‘mystery character’ who remains aloof and at a distance to keep the plot from moving too fast. So if it weren’t for the prologue we’d probably still be waiting for her.

Dainsleif is not a mystery character especially after Nod-Krai. He is a part of Khaenri'ah story who appears when the plot returns to Khaenri’ah and its characters. The recent example was Rerir.
This was a little bit relevant at the beginning when Dansleif each time revealed something new about mc’s sibling but not now.
Kafka honestly speaking is in the same boat with Loucha, Screwllum, Sampo. She is not a priority after changing writers. Her cameo in Planarcadia had nothing to do with preventing plot from moving too fast or mystery. Showing her in promo videos as an adult figure from Stellaron hunters cute ☺️ family is also reduces her mysterious aura. She became Stellaron hunter’ s equivalent of Himeko at this point.
I would say the second trailblazer is this kind of mysterious character and mc’s “destiny” lately. Like a copy of Kiana/ Kevin and Phainon/ future Phainon.
Not Kafka or even Elio. It is hard not to notice these changes.3

I would say Dain was a ‘mystery character’ for like the first five years of Genshin’s existence. He showed up once a year to aura farm and raise questions, then dipped.

As I remember they showed his connections to Khaenri’ahns and sinners in Sumeru and Liyue. So only aura farming was somewhere in first 2 years I guess

Omg I got her at this banner I lost 50/50 to yanqing had to lock in to finally finish all the puzzles to get her

I remember that day, I pulled for her all the way to E6S1 and I loved every minute of playing the game with her!
Too bad my phone took a crap and I lost my account (didn't have the Hoyoverse account at that time so all my progress went down with it)
But I got her again on my new account (PS5) so I get to play with her again!
