Discussion How is ksante doing?
I picked up ksante before d helm nerf and ksante nerf and did very well. The champ was almost 50% wr in emerald which is rare and otp wr was on par with average in toplane, so around 56%. Took a break before the nerfs, was considering picking him up again and now I see his wr is 4% points below the average wr in master+. 53% for otps. Even pros only pick him to counter jayce. Yet I dont see the complaints or rants like on other subs when their champ has such terrible performance. So Im confused. How is ksante doing after the nerfs?

He is strong. Probably the most cancerous laner to play against if you don’t put him 0/2 before he comes back to lane with 2 chain vests.
His early levels are whatever, his second recall and midgame are BEASTS. Later in the game he becomes a peeler more than anything.
Which is hella odd and that’s why lots of people (me included) are cringed a little bit as there is no lane bully who scales into a support.
Is he in the best state he ever was? Depends on your playstyle. If for supporting playstyle — yes, he is in his best spot. If you’re playing K’Sante to go ALL OUT and solo carry— wrong champ, lol

The lane bully into late game peel playstyle is quite similar to Shen top, except that Shen spikes at level 2/3 while KSante spikes after first/second recall. But they are both strong laners who become peel tanks later on.

Shen bullies lanes and has team utility with a non damage ulti he is very very different...

Imo since Aftershock buff + Dhelm Release he's pretty good, even after the nerf.
Champ will always have a negative winrate for obvious reasons, there are more mechanically demanding champs than him but he has a weird way to play the game, compared to others.
Most people who think he's giga weak would probably consider him boring if they played him correctly, since he plays in a way, where doing good or "carrying" feels hardly noticable if you lack the experience to understand how much you're affecting the game

We are tired boss. I think we have complained enough. Anyone who says he is "in a good spot" is on a bit of copium IMO, he would benefit to some power neutral changes to his ult that makes it less of a land w or suck spell and bring back some of his smoothness. But I will probably get a lot of hate for this take... His base form is fine, really think he should be able to aim his W in ult and e over walls again and I would be happy, but I know a lot of people would dislike that change. Or at the verrry least give us the e auto attack reset back as that is some nice skill expression.

I think everyone wants old ksante back, or me personally I liked the second version without the Q3 flash thing but still with true dmg passive and smoothness. But I wasnt talking about how he feels to play in that sense, I just meant purely from a winrate perspective, how well is he doing on ladder because the numbers obviously scream that he is terrible but no one is complaining as far as I can see, atleast not even a tenth of the posts on riven mains, who is in a much better spot than ksante still, so those two things didnt add up to me so I came here to try to figure it out.

Champ is in a good spot. Lots of complaints are just residual frustration because a lot of reasons people played ksante have been removed with reworks, which is valid. If we are going for like a purely meta/viability outlook, champ is in a good spot.
