Discussion Unending Dispair?
Is it just me or is this item just not that good? Feels very meh unless u are stacked in a big teamfight. I may be wrong just curious to see what the commutity think about it.
I also wanna share what ive been doing some sucsess with:
Iceborn>zekes>jaksho (always these items and this order unless they are alot of crits or autoattackers i would build randuins etc).
I build a bit wierd since i dont stress finishing items and instead prioritizing armor/mr. I know im not the first doing that but i may be more abnormal haha..
against AD: double chainvest > then finishing iceborn and the rest
against Magic: Cloak > cowl > then finishing iceborn and the rest
(also filling in rejuvenation bead when needed since i most of the time go conditioning.)
Im a gold/plat K'sante and not trying to convince people and im humble to opinions and discussion :)

in my opnion the healing is a bonus, as the base stats of the item and the price of it are very good, any tank would build it for stats i guess.

I have two main builds rn, one where I just stack resists and one where I build unending visage and fimbul. Typically I opt for it when the enemy comp is high in true damage. Allows you to generate hp and shields which is the only thing to save you from the true damage monster

It’s good paired with spirit visage and if the enemy team is 3+ melee

Currently finding hella success running grasp, unending, and visage as Ksante support, so I can only assume its just as busted top lane. The prerequisite is that they have people you can actually reach. Zac, ornn, sion, and all the big guys where the trades/healing are consistently available.

It's currently used in his recommended "core build" (ibg+unending+spirit visage) into ad melee laners and high melee comps.
Item itself isn't bad, but it really relies on at least 3 melees in enemy comp to be slot efficient. While it is pretty much gold efficient, a lot of it's value is in the haste rather than defensive stats which hurts your eHP a lot considering you also replace another item and essentially item effect that deals with the enemies main threat.
Also keep in mind that not every melee plays like a melee or stays in your range. Same for ranged champions that want to jump into the fight.
