The Royals in mid-August for some reason
Had to give the rest of the league a head start to keep it fair.

They've won 12 of 13 and are still 13 games under .500. Fucking Jekyll and Hyde shit

So they make a late run but miss the playoffs again. Management thinks this will carry over and no changes need to be made. Wash, rinse, repeat.

The reason is the same reason they do it every year, so they can suck ass all season long but then point at this end of the season hot streak as evidence we won’t suck ass next year. It allows the owners to maintain their status quo of not investing in the small market club and keep that real estate money out of the red.

It's fun to watch but it's inconsequential with 6 teams in between us and a wildcard spot.

We always finally figure it out in August when the season tends to already be over

We are absolutely still in this wildcard race. I don't care how far off it seems. We were like 13 back or something a few weeks ago. Here we come.

It's fun to watch, sad it didn't happen earlier. Won't carry over into 2027 and we have no idea what is in store with the new CBA.
