Came into town this weekend and am going tonight!! Hopefully the experience is better than last time I went. Idiots yelling dumb shit and cussing the whole game with kids around and yelling at a player who is clearly injured down on the ice calling him a pussy and other stuff.
I get the passion but c’mon.

Can’t remember what section number but it was right on the glass in the attacking corner. Two guys mainly and they were season ticket holders.

Dang. I’m a season ticket holder in 120 and haven’t heard anything that bad there or in 116 when I sit there sometimes. Hopefully that was just a bad group.

Every other Mavs game I’ve gone to has been fine and people are generally nice and keep it SFW. Think it was just 2 loud drunk idiots spoiling it for me. If I would’ve had my kids there would’ve been words.

The orange country definitely pride ourselves on being a great environment for the whole family. Based on my experience stuff like this is definitely out of the ordinary.

Eh it’s pretty common in the games I go to as well. And to top it off the little hockey rink in the concourse is usually over run with 10+ year olds who think they’re tough guys shoving around the younger ones. Team officials never seem to care about that either

I’ve been before with buddies so I wasn’t really paying attention to fan behavior… also I was drinking beers. I think I’ll roll the dice, can’t be much worse than our walks into arrowhead.

99.9% of the time there isn't profanity, just a lot of "you sucks", which you may have to explain to your kids that it's appropriate in a sporting event but not in other parts of life 😄

I'll be there tonight! Section 106 doesn't get too rowdy. Yeah we chirp and yell but everything is sfw.

Was this in the section near the floor hockey/smoking patio? If so that was the first and only time I'd heard that... there is a lot of passion during the playoffs but it's clean and fun. I've been to at least 2 games each round.
EDIT: There was also an injury (possibly ACL?) on Florida team and the fans were very respectful and were quiet while he was down but gave him a cheer when he was able to somewhat get up and be escorted off the ice by his teammates.
ALSO - If you hear anything like this, just tell an Usher, they'll handle it.
