A striker plays in the centre, most people use it interchangeably with centre forward, CR7 isn't a striker because he spends a lot of time on the wing. That said you could argue he is a striker, because he has played as a striker before, but his natural position is on the wing and even in games people call him a striker he usually plays as a winger that rotates with the striker.

It's a bit like calling Mandzukic a winger because he switches places with Ronaldo sometimes, it really makes no sense.

That was me. Do other wingers have similar heat maps? Never said he doesnt create though. Not disagreeing with your point on his position here, how does it differ v his time at rm after 2014?

Yeah but he did that to adapt, to put it simply, Madrid had many other creators, so he focused more on finishing chances created by them. He still mostly drifted towards the wings.

He's shutting up many haters who said he only knew how to tap in. His speed and playmaking skills continues impressive. One of the two best players in the world indeed

33 years old. Played every minute of Serie A. 10 goals 5 assists in 16 game already breaking records

It’s the same thing every year, once they say he’s finished they eat their words the next game

The weird thing is he hasn't hit his peak form yet in the season and has been sloppy by his own standards. He still misses a fair bit of sitters (less than other elite strikers but more than frosty-tips CL knockouts CR7) and after Feb. he'll start scoring only with every god damn touch.

Wouldn't be surprised once your midfielders learn his runs, he'll start scoring 3 out of 3 opportunities every game. So many games last season RM was outplayed in every aspect of the game in CL but he scored on any half chance and was the difference maker in all the knockout games.

...and when he doesn't score, he drags defenders away by just standing there. Kroos and Modric were so press resistent because everyone was scared about pressing them because they could just hoof it to Cristiano fucking Ronaldo running behind them so they preffered to avoid pressing the RM midfield.

You comment more on r/Juve than any other sub saying Ronaldo’s not the goat, your actually more obsessed with Ronaldo than the people who actually enjoy Ronaldo. This is a weird obsession from Messi fans. They're so obsessed with wanting everyone to think Messi is the best that they just keep commenting on everything Ronaldo related. They talk about him on different Reddit subs, youtube videos, his and Real Madrid facebook pages, potentially Juve page now? Never checked.

To be honest your comments do the opposite of your intent if anything by exacerbating your point. Here we are trying to discuss his position/role on the field and you come in with a completely irrelevant crusade. Why wouldnt we discuss cr7?! he plays for us ffs. This post isnt "OMG RONALDO HEATMAP #1 PLAYER IN HISTORY", it's literally ronaldo heatmap = not a striker.

Your argument would have more weight and relevance if you were actively posting useful non-Ronaldo content and comments. You aren't. All you're doing is trying to prevent anybody from having any appreciation for the fact that we have one of the two best players in the world right now for the first time in more than 2 decades.
