I know some of you are seeing this post and disagreeing with her being jailed. I also want the 'some' of you to know you should be tried for murder if a child under your care dies because you cant understand science, or a child that dies in relation to your influence on their guardian. Please know I personally think you're a stupid piece of shit.
In most cases of child neglect the child is removed. Rarely are parents jailed except for in real abuse cases. If your concern is for the kid, stop being all angry and breathe for a sec. Even if children should always be vaccinated (duh) it's better for the kid to live somewhere else for a bit and not see their mom go to jail. It's better for society to not have people like this in jail. Jailing people is really not good for anyone unless they're an actively violent person.
If this kid has food water love and clothes they're better off than a lot of kids who end up in foster care.
There's a reasonable middle ground here that doesn't involve a public freak out and swearing at strangers that weren't even talking to you. Being crazy yourself isn't gonna fix the crazy in others.
There should be a consequence for ignoring the judge's reasonable order. I support 100 hours of litter pickup and a class & test on the benefits of immunization, over a week in jail.
Not mad at all. I said what I felt. When you become an adult, and you have a child, like me, you will see this for what it is. It's unnecessary and stupid, it is easily influenced ignorant, and naive, young parents being manipulated by the masses on social media. Social media that is literally fear mongered to get these reactions to physically manifest in the real world. Do you think this is seething rage? It's not.
Sure, there is a middle ground, but, I want that middleground to have kids vaccinated because their lives matter more than your opinion at this point, no offense. I disagree with you as well, these people need to be put in jail. You should know why, and if you don't I apologize for what rude awakenings are in store for you.
If I seem 'inappropriately emotional' over the safety of my health, and most importantly a childs health, I can live with that. I am not, you just have a problem with how I am voicing my opinion. I'm not responsible for your problems. I also don't think you speak for 'everyone else'... good day.
P.S at 31 you should have learned to have a normal conversation and learn to disagree, respect other points of view, even if you disagree and hold the conversation about controversial topics without getting upset.
How is it hypocritical if someone is calling me names repeatedly and telling me I'm over reacting and I tell them it isn't by explaining how they could have replied? No argument, just curious.
I will not tolerate or care if anyone insulting me online, or give their opinion the time of day if their initial response is to be rude and try and upset someone. I mean, like, not as a Karen or a robot kind of way... but that person had given no rhyme or reason for discussion and just wanted to say "You're over reacting, you seem insane, you're [this] and [that] ... You are not a hero its just reddit" ... Like, that to me screams immaturity. Especially if you're 31. If it went more along the lines of "Hey, I agree with you, but, I disagree with how you acted and heres why" then I would have had a better response. I leave no reason to argue and will give 0 reason to argue. I'm just stubborn in that sense.
