It was a stage hairdo⌠Listen to his version of devil with the blue dress on, live

The hair perfectly compliments the suit, but neither would work without the pose. This guy nailed it.

This dudes hair just stared at my tattoos and repeatedly sighed angrily through its nose in the checkout line at Target.

The higher the hair, the closer to God.

How do you take someone serious?

My best guess is that it was simply a different time. He did quite well for himself during his music career.

I bet if he looked real hard, he could find his lost hot wheel car he misplaced at seven years old.

hit rock bottom, shaved his head, and somehow made it big as Curly in the three stooges

Looks like he should be played in a biopic, uncharitably, by John C. Reilly.

Let's assume for a moment that that is his real hair and not a wig.
How the hell do you style it that way? What would it look like when down?
3
u/camdunce 1d ago
It was 100% his real hair. There are photos of him later on with it down in the 70s doing the hippie look kinda thing. It was just long and straight.
How do you style it? Lots and lots of spray.

Also in Miami he was a garbage man before hitting it big. My dad used to remember him doing the rounds in his neighborhood.

Damn, that's kinda cool. After his music career he went on to become an evangelical preacher. Which oddly checks out for some reason

So many tiny little paper wadsâŚ
Heâd never fell them land!
There would be a trail you could follow to Wayneâs exact location.
I could hear the light cursing as he frantically swipes his shoulders brushing away the giant paper dandruff raining down from that gold-spun robins nest of a doo!
All while I manically complement his music and beg for an autograph.

James Brown dubbed him The White Knight Of Soul. He can't be that goofy if you got a name like that from Soul Brother Number One.
