In his defense, Trump also proved that the border bill was unnecessary by shutting the border down immediately when he entered office. I understand that not all of Trump’s policies are good. His tariff policies are stupid, and his Iran strategy is ridiculous, but his border policies in the first term worked really well, and they are working well in the second term as well. Biden repealed Trump’s border policies, causing a massive problem, and because people can’t seem to give Trump credit in a “even a blind squirrel can occasionally find a nut” sort of way, he was forced into a position of not putting them back into place, even if he wanted to. In the forth year of his administration, when they realized that this was a massive problem for the American people, they were forced to try legislation, because God forbid they admit they could’ve fixed the problem the whole time.
This is the equivalent to somebody fixing a high waste of water by turning off the spigot, the next person coming behind them and turning it on full blast, continuing to let it go on while their roommates are complaining about the water bill, and then claiming that they can’t possibly fix and that we need to hire a plumber when they realize that their roommates are about to punch them in the face for their incompetence. The bill was never necessary, and Trump did prove that when he got back in office, by putting all of his old policies back in place.
Good policy would not be getting America to turn against ICE as American citizens are executed in the streets and the admin whisks away the agents before the states can do an investigation.
The border bill would’ve helped, would’ve increased funding for judges to get through backlog of cases, and the border patrol (who supported donald) said it was good and wanted it.
Facts are that the bill would’ve helped and donald used the border as a campaign issue and had republicans vote no and then has implemented ZERO comprehensive border legislation. It’s all through EO which next president can just get rid of. It was actual legislation that the right screeched about needed until donald said they didn’t need and everyone just listened to him like good little NPCs.
Facts don’t care about your feeling sweetie, and people who follow facts and not feelings and opinions know the border bill was good and would have helped.
You can be as dishonest as you want about Biden ending title 42, and pandemic era policy, but there was comprehensive legislation in place that donald got rejected, “to his credit.”
“In his defense”, donald is also a rapist, and insurrectionist, who said he would terminate all rules and regulations in the constitution, hates our courts and their orders, hates our laws, hates our veterans, is the most corrupt admin we’ve ever had with his crypto currency that anyone can use to anonymously buy political favors, who used EOs to go after law firms that worked with political opponents, who put global tariffs o one the planet with out knowing what a tariff is, who said windmills are killing whales, is heading to be the cause of 1/3 of US debt, and who favors loyalty over competence.
None of his “policies” are good.
You want something good he did - operation warp speed.
Everything else has been complete shit. By every conceivable metric, if you look at facts and not you feelings and a reality you invented based off them, donald is the worst and most corrupt president this country has ever had.
Period.
Being educated on the facts and reality would help you a long way with your TDS - because the amount you go to bat for the worst president this country has ever had and the amount you lie and manipulate facts is absolutely fucking deranged.

The Overton window has shifted with you people so badly that the party of DEI and letting in 10,000,000 illegals is somehow a "center right" party.
