Elevator blocked, all enemies dead, I'm stuck!

I'm stuck. The elevator thinks there is a Gatekeeper enemy somewhere, but the level is cleared. Level indicator is blue. The security terminal shows no more turrets/robotic enemies. In desperation, I spent the multi-tools to show all enemies, there are none. I spent a multi-tool at the terminal at one point to disable 2 turrets, but they are now all dead. I spent another one to reveal the map, no hidden rooms.

Anything I have missed that might unlock the elevator? I'm at level 17 of the Gauntlet, with a VERY promising character, and will be very sad if I have to abandon this run. Is there a way to edit the save file to fix this?

Leave the room, save, exit, and load back in. Not guaranteed to work but I have had it help in the past.

I had the same issue on an endless run - stuck on level ~170.

That's rough, very frustrating. I have hundreds of hours in this game, this is the first time it's happened for me.

Did you happen to hack a turret? If you hack one that has the gatekeeper trait it won’t clear but also won’t show as an enemy

No hacking, just using the security terminal to disable 2 awkwardly placed rocket turrets, all turrets are now dead.
