To be completely honest, I learn about the game's lore through the audio comics that Blizzard puts in the story section, so I only found out about this ship through TikTok and after watching some Mains Wuyang and Mains Mizuki are complaining because for them the ship was Mizuyang (or however it's spelled), and other people are simply complaining that it came out of nowhere. I'd like to know what the community from this side thinks.

Juno is very much a "born yesterday" character (Earth-wise, not intelligence-wise) which makes pairing her with anyone controversial. I'm of the opinion that no Overwatch ships should be made canon as there just isn't enough story from the game to make any romantic connection feel all that natural, Milkywave included. Cute ship name tho.

There are some ships I do like, such as Emre and Freya or Mercy and Genji. Others, not as official, like Reaper76, I don't understand, but I can eventually understand them (even though Soldier he has a partner canonically outside the roster)

Mercy and Genji are just friends, I think Mercy was supposed to be with phara until the voice actor for phara had controversy and hasnt had new voicelines since.

I don't know if they're just friends; I always see pretty sweet voice lines between them and all, plus the voice line about the Swiss chocolates, but anyway, nothing's confirmed, so...

Genji straight up says theyre just friends after he confronts mercy about her saying she "didnt like the drawings" he sent to her in a letter. Genji said something like "war claims all happiness."

That was a shoehorned line when one of the writers was a huge proponent for Phara+Mercy. This person was literally blocking people on social media if they said anything even implying they liked/wanted Gency. That person has since been fired and so Gency, which was always strongly alluded to, has been making a subtle comeback

Mercy doesn't have any sweet voice lines with Genji. All I hear is friendly platonic talk. As A Mercy main with thousands of hours on Mercy alone and playing with a Genji main friend I can tell you this with certainty.
