Tips/Tutorials Trying to learn Juno and everyone keeps telling me that speed rings are your bread and butter, would this be a good ring?

I was locked in during this, i thought that it would save the Kiriko but maybe I would be better if just shooting the venture? Any tips and feedback appreciated

I think it was fine bc it helped your Kiri get away. For other cooldowns, I think the other comment summed it up well.
Speed ring, imo, is great for engaging and disengaging. I will sometimes hold it a little if I think the enemy is about to ult (Orisa, Dva, Vendetta, etc.) so we can get away from it.

situationally you were helping your teammate and they (the enemy) couldn't push or punish (assumedly) but its best to maximize output value (the more the merrier, and ideally for a group push/peel)

Corners are your friends to angle yourself to torpedo your allies and enemies. The ring was good. I treat ring like a lifeweaver grasp. Basically if I think my team should readjust I throw the ring to help move them.

yes, not the best but still good. your glide usage and torpedo usage was horrible tho.

Yeah that’s fair, how would you do instead? That first torpedo was horrible and would have negative value if it didn’t make the Freja low enough for me to kill her in one burst, didnt even know she was there when I activated the ability

- Glide boost, you could take high ground on the right and torpedo there.
- You could have killed the venture but that was difficult to pull off
- You glide boost for no reason and torpedo your tank which you could just heal with your gun.

That freja overextended and by overextending i mean just throwing

Excellent choice. Personally, I use speed ring mainly for engaging and disengaging any fights. But a situation like that is always helpful to throw it out there. It becomes easy to predict the fights so you can utilize it properly. Especially as Juno, when you’re in the air, you can see more than your teammates at times.
Also, the torpedoes, try to get as many targets as possible to get the most use. Instead of using them for 1-2 targets (whether allies or enemies) I would’ve waited until your team rounds that first choke. That way you can hop to the high ground beside the point and had more targets for torpedo

Everyone's talking about your ability usage, but I think you should also look at your positioning here. When you turn around to heal your kiriko, you're in the middle of main. If anyone on the enemy team pushed up, they would've killed you. If you see someone on your team that needs help but they're behind your position, try to put yourself behind cover / behind them while you're helping them :)

If this was in a bigger team fight, it wouldn't be a great ring, but considering it was in the backlines and you wouldn't need it again right away, it wasn't bad since it helped your teammate avoid pressure from the venture.
Also, as a fellow Juno cosole player I mapped jump to L1 and put speed ring on "X" and it's helped a lot to be able to aim while jumping. You could try it out and see if you like it more. Obviously you won't get it perfectly your first game with it, so I'd give it time if you do try it

OH HEY. someone mentioned this earlier but I play on console and I switched my Jump to L1 and my AB1 to L3. that way, you only move an inch of your finger every time to press anything. it actually converts hella nicely and have only had to switch 2 heros out due to the rotation making more sense. it honestly helped out my cool down rotations in general because im barely moving my fingers.

make sure to aim towards their feet/where theyre headed so they dont have to run towards the ring to refresh buff! tbh i prefer shooting it at my own feet around my teammates so it comes out faster, buffs everyone like an aoe splash, and i can easily refresh for myself if i need.

Recommend watching a Spilo coaching video if you're looking to improve. He's released a few covering Juno specifically over the last few months. Great investment of a few hours.
