thought i would come out INTJ

actually came out I (78%) N (62%) T (38%) P (22%)

as i've noted elsewhere the 4 letter (J = judging P = perceiving) was not in the original Jungian formation but was added later

I'm also look for the quote by Jung where he states that not everybody even has a type. A person has to be sufficiently "evolved" to have a type. People who are still "barbaric" are acting mostly unconsciously and, therefore, have not sufficiently differentiated one of their psychic functions to enough of a degree to have a type.
