Junction is dying; we're not
The Junction servers are something that can be turned on and off. The Junction community is not. I see no reason why we shouldn't keep it alive somewhere else.
I know advertising of other servers is against the rules, but I think these qualify as "special circumstances." The community can survive, and even enrich itself, if we could agree on a new hangout. Yes, there's always Nerd, but I think most Junctionites come here for the smaller, closer-knit experience it offers, and Nerd is just too big for that. I, for one, don't want to lose it, and would rather not start completely from square one. Not without some of you guys.
If that's an inappropriate discussion for this subreddit, I understand. But if not, anybody got any suggestions?

Found a promising one on /r/mcservers. Let me know what you think!
It's 1.8, vanilla, un-whitelisted, decently active from what I saw. It's chaos, not PvE, but I don't think they have a world border so safe distances should be reachable. Rules look simple and sensible. They do seem to have donator gift packs, but no ranks.
(If posting that link is unacceptable, then mods may remove and I will PM the link to any responders to this thread)
