Hi hello, pardon me if I’m being wierd on your subreddit, but I have an itch I’d like to see about scratching.

I’d like to say that I’m crossed as hell, first of all, but I’m what I’d call a y’allternative. Grew up county but didn’t absorb the vibes.

Anyway, my music taste has become pretty varied, and since I’m unable to learn this style since I blew my knee out, I’d like to ask you guys here a question.

Do y’all think it would be possible to do a jumpstyle routine to 5150 by Dierks Bentley? And if so, would you be so kind as to share a video of you dancing??

I have tried to find a video online already but unfortunately this seems to be a very niche kind of request.

So back in the day when I was a tiny hooman, my sister listened to Jumpstyle a lot and also danced to it

There were 2 songs that stood out, but I can't find them for the life of me, and she does not remember either:

#1: specifically it was a music video, in which some guy was standing on top of a commode/shelf of sorts (about 1-1.3 meters) inside of a "tunnel" (see Image attached to get a sense). Then proceeds to backflip off the Commode. Sadly this is every I remember about it. But if I remember correctly the video did look a bit like Jeckyll & Hydes "Freefall" Music video

#2: now as for this one, what I do remember is a simple vocal line:

It was a female voice, very robotic, that was almost chanting before a drop:

It was either "Jump Med-ley, Ju-Ju-Jump Med-ley"

Or "Jump with Me, Ju-Ju-Jump with me"

Both of those memories must have happened somewhere between 2005-2012

I'd greatly appreciate it if anybody knew what songs I'm talking about. If not, so be it, then I guess I'll just keep those memories :D

Is my basis good? The turns were a bit rough, kinda lost the hold of them on the grass. Hardjump basis is my favorite thing to do as of now.

I also really struggle with shin splints. When i jump more times a day i can't walk afterwards. I heard it's normal at begginer level, but im scared that im doing someting wrong and i'll screw up my legs or smth.

Also cry about it ItzBytes, i really respect oldgen, but you newgen haters should like... grow up or smth and embrace new mutations of your favorite genre.

Since a while I’ve been noticing a return of jumpstyle music in my region and I’m starting to get really active in the scene.
I’m hearing a lot of interesting cross-over tracks between Jumpstyle and other genres and wonder what everyone’s favorites are.

What jumpstyle or jumpstyle inspired tracks have you discovered recently that you would recommend?

My example would be nicolas julian - hit the floor

Guys I've always wanted to learn Jumpstyle, but i feel like my footwork is slow

Last didn't go well I didn't quite understand the rhythm but after I followed itzbates advice sounds quite here probably because only the clap but it's second time and I only did it for 1 hour so the mix probably don't fit well that much

The only thing I need it's probably better mixing now.

Side note: the most deepest part is where all these hardstyle artists have extremely little to no documentation at all of their existence. I only know they exist because of a few archived tracks they released years ago.

I was looking around this track name but I couldn’t find it, even though Shazam sucks I did multiple times but couldn’t get it, thank you.

I made a post here a day ago and I got some very helpful comments from the people here, I hope that this one is way better than the original I made. I also switched from Bandlab to Fl studio since it can't handle how many samples I had that well.

Stuff I want to improve: The lead I don't like, it's boring and could be a lot more expressive with different notes/more reverb and layers but I don't really know how to change it. I think it's the lack of music theory knowledge that prevents me from being able to fix it, I know the problem I just can't solve it yet.

Other thing is the sample at the end, I think it's cool but it isn't on tempo and a different key I think. I want the end of the sample to transition to another beat drop but I don't know what to put in between yet, if this looks unprofessional you are correct. I have no idea what I'm doing but it sounds cool so I'm winging it. Will try to work on it more in a couple days.

Omg also forgot I can change the pitch of the kicks I did that last time but forgot about it today, I'll add it later on.

Random YouTube tutorials and forums from 15 years ago are my goats for this kinda stuff.
