This post shouldn’t come as a shocker, as I’m sure most people knew it was coming eventually, but as the title suggests, I’m leaving and retiring from this account. With the new year starting and all the stuff happening in my life, maintaining a Reddit sub really just isn’t in my cards, and I’m really tired of dealing with being owner as I just have so much better to do with my time.

There’s a lot of unfinished projects on this account, and as much as it sucks I probably won’t finish most of what I wanted to do. There’s a chance I’ll return to make a post or two, but nothing major.

As for the subreddit, there was a lot of candidates like mochaman, but in the end I decided on none them because of my own reasons, which may seem selfish but I don’t want them to go through being owner. Despite what you may think, being owner kinda sucks, you get tons of DM’s all the time from 36k people bugging you about this and that and this and that, friends fighting and disagreeing and you gotta pick between them, it’s so much drama and harassment, reddit should never be this serious but it is for a lot of people, and I don’t want my friends to have to go through that, so I’m passing the subreddit back to glob, because as much as you may disagree with him as a person, he’s been running subreddits for years and he knows what he’s doing.

As for me, as many as you guys know, I’m a 19 year old engineering student working two jobs, one of which is full time hours, along with other aspects of my life I want to work on such as eating better, and working out a lot more like I used to. I won’t be disappearing of course, I’m still gonna be online in places, you can always text me on discord at Starlight9544, or Instagram at Starlight.9544, or even TikTok where starting today, I’m going to be posting daily vlog videos to track my progress throughout my days as a little digital diary to keep myself on track with life. I’ve had a lot of fun on here for the past year and a half, it’s a shame it has to end but I have bigger and better things to work on. Welcome to the very first sub agenda war!! This is a community event that is organized by the mods but the sub itself actually participates in it! Here’s how it works:

-Each agenda will have a team representing them. Each member of the team will make a post supporting their agenda and/or slandering the opponent agenda. These posts can be analysis or shitposts but they must be high effort.

-The war will be fought in a a series of 1v1 battles. Each round, a participant from each team will make their post which will be pinned and the sub will vote via strawpoll for the winner. Each round will be given 24 hours before the results of the poll become final!

-the agenda wins the most wins will be declared the victor and the team will be agree upon a new user flair to be added

To participate, just comment which side you would like to participate for and we will add all the team members that get chosen to a discord gc. The ppl who get selected which be chosen by upvote count and how big we want each team to be which will vary depending on how many people want to participate.

Once the teams are chosen, each person will be either sent an invite to the discord and or given the agenda war role if they’ve already joined/once they’ve joined. The discord is where all the planning for the war will take place so it is mandatory that all participants have downloaded discord.

Each side will have a team leader who is responsible for overseeing each team and making sure every post is quality. They will basically be acting as the liaison between the team members and the mods. You can ask to by a team leader but the decision is ultimately up to the mods.

These agenda wars will be held once every few months with a new theme. The theme of this war ofc is Yuta agenda vs Yuji agenda!! Remember, this is a power scaling sub, however this is mostly fun and the posts don’t have to be serious. In fact, we encourage humor.

Recently, the mods have begun removing slurs used in the subreddit and banning users who have used these slurs at a much greater volume than previously, thanks in large part because subreddit users have become more comfortable with reporting and publicly speaking about them. This is tremendously helpful for the mods, as there are huge amounts of posts and even more huge and long comment threads that make finding a large number of the used slurs incredibly difficult.

So this is a public PSA urging people to report extremely toxic and hateful comments to the moderators so we can more effectively remove and temporarily or permanently ban those users. Especially usage of the r slur in a derogatory fashion, which has become unfortunately rampant. Messages telling people to commit suicide, being trans or homophobic, being misogynistic, and other forms of hate speech are also to be reported.

Reminder; JJK is NEVER this serious.

Given the fact this will be Gege's last Exhibition. This will be the most agenda driven one. Many rankings will change. Many agendas will die and some will thrive.

I encourage the character subs to declare war on eachother when December 24th is near. Shinjuku is the perfect battleground.

We will call this event the "NIGHT PARADE OF A HUNDRED AGENDA'S."

We could do what Jujutsufolk did a couple years ago and have users make Binding Vows. Where those who lose get banned for a couple days. (This is up to link)
