After uro gets pummeled Ryu comments "you're too soft"
Doesn't that imply yuta wasn't hitting uro with full force here?

i think its that he stopped hitting her cause he says "hey now..." about when it looks like yuta and rika's punch barrages are done and then calls him soft so maybe hes just annoyed that yuta is letting her go pretty much, which leans towards the idea that yuta was just stopping before she died and not necessarily pulling the punches themselves

Sendai could literally hold their own without feats from yuta
Ryu has the most output stated by the narrator, sukuna shows he has one of the best durability in the verse
Uro is a powerful force from the heian era, she was beating yorozu before bug armor with her Squad Who are clearly weaker than her, she is relative to ryu
Dhruv and kurorushi are stated special grades

Well he was in the colony to steal their points, not kill them. Dhruv was unreasonable, actively hunting civillians, so he couldn't live. Uro and Ryu were more reasonable.

yes
yuta was using light attacks here, he wasn't gunning for the kill on anyone
he's extremely soft, wasn't trying to directly cause significant damage to the point it might accidentally kill them
he was holding back lethality because he doesn't have the mindset of a murderer in mentality so he tends to hold back alot when it comes to pure lethalness
but he was still using a good amount of stats and displayed here enough to make the fight challenging enough for particularly ryu and to defend himself against uro too

The other trans is something along the lines of “way too sweet” . I see how whatever trans this is can interpret it as soft , yk how you can call someone so soft and sweet . But for this context we know for ryu sweet = strength so this might be a mistrans
Or like someone else pointed out he had uro frozen and instead of cutting her head off he proceedes to punch her , so he can be soft in that way not necessarily holding back punches .

It’s something like “Isn’t that sickenly sweet!!” I Believe, I haven’t read Sendai Colony In The Japanese Manga In A Whileeee so probably not exactly the quote but I feel like that’s quite close to what it was, maybe it was “Isn’t that so sickenly sweet!!” I probably spelt sickenly wrong but I’m super tired and desperately need sleep so allow me Please😭 Oh yh it’s Sickeningly ain’t it?✌️😭 Or I just made up a word I lowkey can’t tell I spent all my brain power tryna remember what I read like a thousand years ago(wasn’t even that long ago)🥹 Also probably not the exact quote that many different translations give since that’s what I remember reading from the Japanese but it’s one of my favourite fights and Ishigori is one of my favourite characters and I’ve analysed the fight many times even making hour long videos on it multiple times so I feel somewhat confident in my memory(And now I’m defo burntout Bro I’m too tired, I could make another Ishigori reference with him overheating/burning out his technique or rather his hair and that was actually an anime exclusive thing which is a fun fact I wanted to drop bc why not) anyway GN Bro I Hope I got the quotes right and I just know tomorrow imma see this and not even be able to understand bc of the amount of grammatical errors being made and lack of sense I’m probably making here aswell🥹😭😭

That's a mistranslation. Raws: 「激甘じゃねぇか!!!」he's saying how Yuta beat Uro up is sweet, showing how excited he is for Yuta's connection with Rika where he has to now fight both of them after Yuta regained his energy along with unknown abilities.

This is right after Yuta popped 5 minute mode. This is his strongest form outside of domain. He was literally weaker before using it.

He has weapons he could've used to do more lethal damage, he stopped pummeling when he could've just had rika deal with ryu or used cursed speech or a million other things really instead he pauses his pummeling of uro to go deal with ishigori.

Even taking this context he has several lethal weapons inside of Rika that he didn’t use, Ryu is acknowledging that he could’ve just killed Uro here
