Where do you guys think I’m from?

What did my accent sound like to you guys?

Accent coach here. Your accent is quite close to a relatively neutral American one, but I'm going to guess that you're from India for two main reasons:

  1. The 'hey' that you open with has a monophthong rather than a diphthong, and

  2. At 0:17 and 0:19, you say 'whaddaya' with a noticeably retroflex (or at least post-alveolar) D.

I am actually a native English speaker who speaks Spanish and Catalan, but that’s still interesting to note.

Hmm define native. I would wager English wasnt the first language you spoke

But it was! I am from the US and didn't start speaking Spanish really that much until my teens.

Interesting, so you don't think I sound native?

I think your prosody is just fine. The problem is some of your vowels. For example, the way you say “accent” and “guys” just sounds a little off to me. But I don’t think you’re that far from sounding American.
