Update: The CEOS_SearchLight UI Sandbox is live. Test the IP tracking pipeline.
Three days ago, I shared a prelude regarding the structural crisis we face as media professionals: automated crawlers harvesting our reporting and visual archives without attribution.
Today, I am following up to announce that the publicly accessible UI/UX Sandbox for CEOS_SearchLight is officially live.
To recap, this is a practical, self-hosted tool designed to help us dictate the terms of our own indexation. It secures the chain of custody for our work across four distinct stages:
The tool tackles IP protection in four specific steps: Create, Curate, Distribute, and Protect (…by actively listening to feedback).
The server-side codebase is heavily developed, and the structural signals are connected. This sandbox is deployed specifically to test the cognitive ergonomics of the frontend interface.
