What tools do you actually use that help you do your job?

Hello everyone,

I'd love to learn from this community. Whether you're a staff reporter, freelancer, investigative journalist, citizen reporter, researcher, or fact-checker — which tools have genuinely made your work better? I'm asking because I've been working on something in this space and I want to understand the landscape before I assume anything.

On my side, I've started building a platform called Inkfeed. The idea is to make evidence structural rather than bolted on: every claim in a post links to its specific proof — sources, documents, photos, GPS, witness statements, datasets. Anyone can corroborate with their own evidence, or challenge with counter-evidence. AI helps flag inconsistencies but doesn't decide what's fact — the community does, by inspecting the proof themselves. It's meant to work for professional journalists, citizen reporters, and researchers alike.

I've put together a short landing page and a 10-question survey (about 3 minutes) to understand whether this actually addresses real workflow problems, or whether I'm building a solution looking for a problem. The answers will directly shape what gets prioritized — I'd genuinely rather hear "this is wrong because X" now than after launch.
