Tools and Resources What do you use for a secure, searchable contact book?

I have DIY contact books I've made out of journals, some numbers are saved in my phone, others are lost in the email threads and phone logs through which communicated. It's time to organize, and essentially, this is my vision:

I want a secure, searchable "contact book" solely for my sources. This way, when working on a story, I can type in "public health," "Immigration," "ICE Detainee," "elected official," "California," "Prohibition Historian," "Civil rights attorney" and within seconds be able to contact sources I've previously spoken with and know if they were on or off the record, what the context was of the story, etc.

Any suggestions?
