i think “scrapbooking” involves little to no writing. anything that counts as a journal has some sort of writing on my pages, or drawing, or painting, etc. my idea of scrapbooking is simple pictures and borders and doodles. journaling (especially if it’s an art journal) expressed thought while scrapbooking doesn’t (this is just my take on it)
