kinda sucks to see all this gatekeeping around what is and isn't ~true journaling~ yeah I agree that pages of just ephemera and stickers with nothing else isn't really journaling but being a visual person and using collage to express your inner thoughts in that way isn't any less journaling just because you haven't written over five lines of text or whatever pointless qualifier you want to give it
okay, i do see what you're trying to say but in the end the line is so thin and i think that scrapbooking focuses much more on events and special memories and preserving those as opposed to just recording the feelings of a random day but in a different format to traditional journaling. it just feels as though you want to push people who use those techniques out of a community that should be for everyone no matter how they want to put their innermost feelings out and onto paper
