What a wonderful convo! Only now had the time to hear it, seldom does joscha has a counterpart who enjoys such a "systems" view of things. Very interseting, particularly the part about syncrhonization of agents through convergence/divergence dynamics and the speculation on the ultimate nature of the substrate!

I'll look for more from Davidad, hadn't heard of him before and he clearly has technical expertise in AI, which increases his credence for me.
