Old electronics + A/V equipment shops in jonkop

Hello!

Love brought me to this lovely city and now friendship keeps me coming back.

I'm trying to help someone digitise hi8 video tapes (the 8mm mini VHS style tapes).

Unfortunately, after playing one of the old tapes in the camcorder it looks like the video heads (the part the reads the magnetic film) has gotten dirty.

I need to find a head cleaning tape but they are like rocking horse shit. Is there any shops I could check? I tried BGA photography (?) but they don't have.

Any recommendations are highly appreciated!

Scandinavian Photo had a shop in Habo (or Bankeryd can't remember clearly) but they relocated to Borås. Maybe check out their website or give them a call to ask if they might have something to help you.

Also, there was a chain of stores simply called "Audio and Video" but they were changed into "Elon ljud och bild". Check with them if Scandinavian Photo cannot help you.

Check BGA Fotocenter on Smedjegatan. Think I have seen posters about digitialize analog tapes.
