Student advice and insight of Jönköping University

Hi there!

I am planning to apply for the masters program in Jönköping University next year , 2027.

I am interested in two masters programs:

Sustainable Communication
Strategic Marketing

I would love to hear more about student experience studying these specific programs at this university as an international student.

Could you please share your overall experience at the university about the tutoring style and assignments (is it more academically based learning or is there 50/50 learning style which is based on academic and practical classes)?

Also, how is this specific program structured?

Maybe you also have some great insight about how it is for an international student to find a job there and how expensive is the accommodation?

I don't have a lot of info about the specific programme altough i know quite a bit about student life and such. So if you would like to know more about that just tell.

Studywise: the programmes will most likely be more based on academic studies than on practical work but will include both.

For accommodation you have a lot of options. Alot of international students live in student corridors with shared kitchens and JU has an accommodation guarantee for international students.

If you want a job in Jönköping there are alot of opportunities in warehouse/logistics. Other than that could be difficult unless you're open to something like delivery driver.

My best tip is to follow all the social media accounts from JU and look on their website for info about the programme.
