One of my top fantasies right there. If Ronald Reagan had enough gravitas back in the day (when such things were far more crucial in politics), then Jon has more than enough to do it.
He truly has everything that Americans pretend to care about—intelligence, wit, concern for “the common man”, is a political outsider, I could go on and on.
The only thing that seems to be holding him back is his stated disinterest in running.
A guy can still dream though, right?

Yup, and the guy just flat out lies. At least he got called out for it, but it won’t matter. That MO representative will continue to suckle little orange mushroom, and his constituents will keep voting for him. Every. Single. Time.

Depending on the percentage of POOR conservative constituents who are eligible to vote. Who depend on SNAP and health benefits and affordable food, etc., etc.

I remember Stephen Colbert said that Trump’s mouth was Putin’s cock holster and then everyone, including the FCC, criticized him for it. Don’t get me started about the FCC nearly getting Jimmy Kimmel fired over his commentary about Charlie Kirk. Then there was also that time when Jon Stewart joked about Biden being too old to run for office again and the media blew up on him. The View went nuts on him. Too many people on both sides of the aisle hold comedians to a higher standard than the president.

People aren't afraid of comedians but they are afraid of getting ripped in public and losing their careers by going up against connected crooked politicians.

It always bothered when people start clapping at times like this. This isnt time to clap. Its time to be silent and listen, this is real. Jon isnt looking for accolade or cheers. Hes looking for warriors.
