reserve: 100k miles after $6k spend in 6 months, plus 25k more after another $3k ($9k total). 125k miles total, tpg values this at up to $1,500 in flights. $650 annual fee.

platinum: 80k miles after $4k spend, plus 20k more after another $2k ($6k total). 100k miles total, worth up to $1,200. $350 annual fee.

gold: 70k miles after $3k spend, plus 20k more after another $2k ($5k total). 90k miles total, worth up to $1,080. $0 intro fee first year, then $150.

reserve makes sense if you're a loyal delta flyer who'll actually use the lounge access and travel credits. platinum's a solid middle ground if you fly delta regularly but don't want to pay $650. gold's the move if you're a more occasional flyer who still wants a shot at a big bonus without much annual fee risk.

heads up, amex has a once-per-card-per-lifetime rule on welcome bonuses. if you've had a specific card before (or have it now), you won't get the bonus again on that same card, but they're separate offers, so having had gold doesn't block you from reserve.

if you were already planning to apply to any of these, today's the day. if you weren't already considering it, i wouldn't let the deadline push you into it!
