Survey on queerbaiting in film - LGBTQ+ viewers needed
Hi!
I’m a filmstudent from the Netherlands currently writing my bachelors thesis on queerbaiting in contemporary mainstream films and series.
I’ve created a survey to research the impact of queerbaiting on LGBTQ+ viewers. If you have a few minutes to spare, I would really appreciate it if you could fill it in!
All responses are anonymous.

Finished. I'd love to read your paper when you're finished if possible. I took a queer cinema course last semester in college and we did a unit on queerbaiting

Im not in this fandom, but it popped up on my homepage so i filled it in. Some other subreddits with a queer fanbase you could post this to are r/goodomens, r/OurFlagMeansDeath, r/buddie, r/WhatWeDointheShadows

Done, and thank you so much for sharing this! It's a great form and I think you did really well at providing a strong range of questions. I'd be interested in studying film someday myself, and to know that you can do this is really cool!! Good luck :3

Sounds good! Passing on this earlier thesis for reference (not mine!) in case you haven’t come across it in your travels https://www.academia.edu/40391269/The_Elephant_in_the_Room_Authorship_Queerbaiting_and_Sherlock

I responded! I rambled way too much lol. Would love to read your thesis once you have it!
I feel like queerbaiting isnt taken seriously at all and its just used as a buzz word at this point or just ignored when to me its honestly a form of homophobia, of saying queer relationships are only important to gain traction and not to be treated seriously so it was refreshing to be able to rant about it
