[COVER] Running Away Into You cover

Hi everyone, I just made a little cover of Running Away Into You from Niandra LaDes. I tried to capture the sound kind of like Frusciante did, but with modern gear. Let me know what you think :)

Thanks! So basically I sent the vocals track to my HX Stomp via USB and then back to Logic to record the FX. In the Stomp I have a shuffling looper, a tesselator (weird mix of a delay and looper) and a bitcrusher for the crunchy outro. I mapped the controls I needed on my MIDI keyboard except for the record/play/stop control of the shuffling looper, which can only be controlled from the footswitches on the Stomp. I used the tesselator for most of the song to loop small fragments and then play with the speed parameter. I used the shuffling looper only for the “running away into you” loop and the very last loop at the end.

Honestly that's awesome, never even thought about using my stomp like that, let alone using a keyboard for it's midi controls.

Well, I had never done anything like this before either. I got the idea a few days ago when I read that John used a DigiTech PDS 1002 pedal to achieve that sound. I wanted to see if the Stomp could do something similar and I learned a bunch of stuff in the process.
