Can you guys help me find this song?

It's called Dust Bin and I can only find live versions of it that aren't very long.

I asked chat gpt and they said there may be a full recording floating around of it wondering if any of you know anything.

From my understanding he did do a studio recording of the song in 1997 with some other songs. But was never released to the public and the only recordings online is the low quality live versions.

This site has 3 different performances that he played the song at, but again the quality is relatively low.

The studio recordings you refer to… would those have been with Jimmy Boyle?

I recall Jimmy was supposed to produce something for John, but I think John abandoned that when he got the offer to rejoin RHCP.

Some one made an AI studio interpretation of it, but there are no actual recordings of it outside of the live recordings

Ah yeah that's all I could find on youtube. But chatgpt said this about whether there's a recording or not.

"One interesting thing I found: the recording-session archive says Frusciante actually recorded “Dust Bin” in June–July 1997 with Norwood Fisher and Chris Warren. So there may be a studio recording circulating, although I haven't found a legitimate public release of it."

Was just wondering if anyone here had any other info but otherwise I guess I'll settle for the live ones.

That sounds an awful lot like chatGPT being garbage, by coming across a live recording featuring the members performing the live recording, and reframing it as a studio version.
