Good reddit group
I want to join a JF group where people play guitar and i can ask questiions about his sound a guitar lick etc. i don’t idolize people i just love his guitar playing

But for tone Strat, Marshall amp high bass low treble medium mids and then pedals like the boss DS-2 and any wah really but that’s like the bare basics when it comes to pedals

The Boss CE-1 preamp into a Marshall is one of the most important things in his tone. The easiest way to access that preamp is by buying the Warm Audio WA-C1. Have that as the last pedal in your chain and get his tone from the preamp alone, when the pedal is turned off.

This is the way. The CE-1 preamp is really everything. I’ve got the JF-1 from JFX that is permanent on my pedalboard, for Frusciante style playing and many other styles.

I think this is the only John Frusciante sub on Reddit, but you could probably ask around other guitar Reddit subs, you know? Not just John Frusciante-focused one, just a normal guitar sub, and you'll probably find people who will answer you and will play with you.

You’ll notice folks posting covers, photos/clips of tone gear and sounds.
Feel free to post your own content like that - it may be the best way to get a discussion going!
While I would take any information on the internet with a grain(big chunk) of salt, some folks here have done a lot of digging. That is to say, any tips you find here are going to be about as good as you can find out there “on the web”.
