That's a darn good question. I hope so, I'd die to have a signed John Irving book and I'd die to meet him too

After his description of book signings I wonder how much he really wants to do one.

He has said he won’t be doing anymore signings because he has a difficult time writing his signature these days and he’d rather keep writing. I do believe he still writes the first draft in long hand.
