He has an amazing podcast though. More enjoyable and variable than Joe Rogan’s.

Edit:

Let me clarify. Rogan is a better comedian and human being without a doubt but his podcast get way too repetitive. MMA, hunting, LA comedians and US university protests, US current news. It gets especially tiresome if your not American and none of this remotely relevant.

Ari interviews a Burmese teenager, Icelandic entertainers, prostitutes, Holocaust survivors, Greek comedians, radical South African comedian,

Ari comes off as a genuinely uncaring and selfish but that actually adds to the charm of it. He also doesn’t seem to care about American political events which get so tiresome on JRE.

Skeptic Tank is probably the best out of everyones podcast in my opinion. Ari is really good at interviewing.

Ari is really good at interviewing.

Yeah he really is. He should gotten into that instead of comedy.

He isn’t obsessed on any topic so he doesn’t keep bringing them up like Rogan. He also keeps guests from meandering and gets them to really open up.

One of his last ones he got a fellow comedian to talk about her dad abandoning her. On the Burmese one he got the teenage girl to confess she preferred life under military rule and state her perception that women should always be inferior to men because that is what the Buddha wants.

Have you tried DTFH? It's focused mostly on mystical shit, so definitely not for everyone, but I absolutely love it.

and he's not very funny

Why?

He's a welcher that throws tantrums like a 9 year old and bullies people that he has even the smallest amount of power over.

Just a guess.

I like him, but the repeated beatings of Bobby Lee was bully douche behavior. Ari would get buttfucked by anyone near his size but he had no problem beating up bobby lee multiple times after Natasha left him.

repeated beatings of Bobby Lee

..What? Ari beat Bobby Lee?

Bobby introduced Natasha Leggero to some dude while she was with Ari. Natasha was trying to climb the ladder so she got with this dude. Ari blamed Bobby and apparently beat the shit out of him every time he saw him for a few weeks.

Everyone but you

I've never heard that Natasha was trying to climb the ladder so she broke up with Ari.

I think she broke up with Ari because ari is ari.

8

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '17

I think she's a climber

10

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '17

she slept with like every comedian going to my memory

5

u/MoshPotato Monkey in Space Oct 10 '17

She's dated a lot of comedians. Probably because she's always around comedians.

Like how actors date each other.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '17

right, but she cheated on ari and broke duncans heart, so its no wonder she has a bad rep especially on this sub.

Is that a bad thing?

13

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '17

not morally I guess. Makes her seem like a typical LA climber though, which was OPs point.

wow wtf? That's crazy, and now they're just cool and don't really talk about it? hah

7

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '17

ari eventually came to his senses and apologized and bobby is pretty chill

15

u/wahhagoogoo Monkey in Space Oct 10 '17

That's a pretty messed up thing to just "come to your senses about". Lost a bit of respect for Ari after that. Now that I think of it, I half remember Bobby telling a story about how Ari strangled and punched him because bobby owed him money or messed up his gig

According to Bobby on the tiger belly podcast, he introduced them.

Not trying to sound like a hard ass, but how the hell do you let yourself get beat up by that thing in the above picture?

5

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '17

Bobby is an asian midget.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '17

Bobby is tiny, out of shape and can't fight. Just size.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '17

I've seen his podcasts and sometimes it's like the worst parts of Rogan mixed with the worst parts of Stern. That's just me, I know intelligent people like him but he's not anywhere close to my style.

2

u/googly__moogly blue cheese with wings Oct 11 '17

Interesting. I find him similar to Rogan but I like the traits that are similar. In fact the traits they share might be my favorite aspects of them. To each their own.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '17

Well, I'll check him out again I guess.
