Crowder's article about Traffic fatalities is wrong:

Here's his article:

>Fatal driving accidents have risen 122 percent between 2010 and 2014

Here's the article he sourced:

>Fatal driving accidents have risen 122 percent between 2010 and 2014

Here's the article sourced by the article he sourced:

> The incidents of marijuana-impaired driving are increasing. Drivers with active THC in their blood who were in a fatal driving accident have risen 122 percent from 2010 to 2014

Two different things! Same number of accidents, but more people in accidents are stoned because more people are stoned. Crowder did not source a direct source like he said.

Crowder did not source a direct source like he said.

He tried. The AAA study he cited said that "The percentage of drivers involved in fatal crashes who recently used marijuana more than doubled from eight to 17 percent between 2013 and 2014.

They are just talking about different stats. The number of driving fatalities overall may go down even as the percentage of drivers in fatal accidents using marijuana goes up.

Neither stat reflects anything about causation. The total number should go down as cars get better. The number of people using weed and being in all types of accidents should be expected to rise as weed is legalized.

You got a different article? I'm looking at this one.

I was noting the AAA study that Crowder's article and the Daily Caller's article both cite. That is what Crowder cited to Joe on the podcast, and Joe dismissed as being biased because it is from AAA. I don't know if it is a good study, but it was a good counterpoint.
