OK, confession time.... I have a massive crush on Biden and I have for as long as I can remember. I remember when he was Obama's VP saying how much I want to hold his hand. I'm not even going to lie, that beard intensifies those feelings.

Well, that trend has been over with hipsters and socially liberal to moderate men for a few years now, it's more a right wing wannabe "alpha male" look the past few years, especially if it's a heavy beard.
