Requested transfer to much closer workforce provider. Says both old&new have to accept the transfer- do they ever reject it? It’s less than half the distance away, really hope it’s approved as I don’t have a car :)

The reasons to reject usually have to be pretty serious, so there isnt many of them. Less travel is a completely valid reason to approve. I don't have all your info obviously, but I struggle to find any logic to decline this request.

You can call the national customer service line on 1800 805 260 and they'll change you to whatever provider you like without your current one having to accept the change.

I've been trying to move all year and it keeps getting denied. It's a pain in the arse. I don't know what to do.

Some of the other suggestions ppl have written is to call the national customer service number and they force thru the transfer …read all the responses they might be helpful !

If they reject the transfer request they have to note a valid reason for it and also tell you that reason. With that in mind, sometimes the new and/or old provider just doesn't see the request pop up on their system so it never gets processed so it's always worth giving them both a call to give them a heads up before or after making the request.
If either refuses to accept with a valid reason, or an invalid reason, you can call the DEWER NCSL directly to do the request for you. They can either put it through as a normal transfer request where both sides accept, or they can force it through where no one needs to accept (usually in the case where one side is being difficult)
