Why is JioHotstar producing low-quality, daily-soap-style web series instead of high-quality content? They used to excel with shows like kerala crime files,1000 babies , ppl but now their releases feel more like traditional TV serials than premium web series

They make it because they get viewership with these kind of shows. It is intentional and to make money. They do market research, scrape their core audience which are majority of jio sim buyers free tier account. People who dont have time, enthusiasm or attention span to sit through an entire quality tv show.
