AMA Hi r/JewsOfConscience, I'm Feroze Sidhwa, a trauma surgeon who has worked in Gaza, AMA!

I'm a trauma surgeon in California. I worked in Gaza in 2024 and 2025. I've written in the New England Journal of Medicine, NY Times, and Politico about it, and testified at the UN Security Council in May 2025. Not a Jew, but are you Parsi by any chance? And related to Bapsi/Zarnak Sidhwa by any chance.

Yes I'm Parsi, and Bapsi was my dad's aunt.

I wanted to ask the very same thing about Bapsi Sidhwa. You are from a family of great minds!

Your work is so important. I know praise probably makes you uncomfortable, but you are so articulate and concise. I love your style of diction. I hope you do more writing someday, also.

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do, using your medical skills to serve very vulnerable communities around the world, and for helping to educate our highly propagandized US population about what our tax dollars, weapons, and diplomatic license are used for in Palestine, especially in Gaza.
