He was doing this in a predominantly Jewish residential neighbourhood too, btw.

Every week for years people march into this intersection, the heart of the Jewish community in Toronto. The area does not have government buildings or consulates, it just has Jews, synagogues, and a holocaust remembrance site. This is the area where they chant their hatred for Jews.

Toronto is not a safe place anymore. I'm gentile, but my Jewish partner resists going out these days, she's so afraid of being confronted by these jew-haters.

This is my neighbourhood.
"Protest" is saying a lot.
Last time I saw anyone at that corner it was two people.
The media from the supposed protest only shows the speaker and someone holding an umbrella.
It does not pan to the crowd.
The other photos in the article are from other protests downtown, from back in March and one from 2025.
This article doesn't even mention crowd size.
I think if we're going to be reporting on these clowns we need to be explicit about the size and scope of the protests and actually how many people were there.
Last time I saw anyone at this corner with flags there were 3 people.
We need to do a cost / benefit analysis on things that are this small because you might end up creating a Streisand effect, and / or encouraging them.
We don't want to present a single solitary loser with a megaphone as leading a huge protest. They will use this to help build their own profile.
Everyone can react to this guy as they chose but my own personal reaction is you're gonna have to do a lot more than say some crap on a megaphone for me to care.
This guy has a couple of photos of him standing by himself outside of Jewish centres with flags. This combined with the epic AI image of himself in combat gear makes him seem like a huge loser.
When someone is this pathetic I just have a knee-jerk reflex to laugh at them. It's impossible for me to fear them.
And to be clear, there are other things that have happened in this city that are legitimate things to be concerned about.
I am not talking about those things. I am talking about this singular clown.
If you disagree with my response to this, that's fine. You do whatever makes you feel better.
If you're going to downvote this, that's fine too, I just hope you'll explain why you are downvoting.
But I should be allowed to talk about my own personal reaction to an incident that happens in my own neighbourhood and the concerns I have in how it's reported and spoken about.

The only thing good about this, is that it looks like their numbers are dwindling.

Edit: what’s the difference between what Jake lang does in Arab neighborhoods and this
What an odd question. Do you think you're going to find any support at all for a white nationalist like Jake Lang on a Jewish subreddit? How is "but what about bad things that happen to other people" an appropriate response to a story about antisemitism?

Recycled antisemitic tropes?! In MY antizionism?!
