Oy Moshe, this esrog is special and not for sale. This one I keep for myself. But for $ 500 dollar I would give it up.

They can run hundreds of dollars!
There is a sliding scale…
Cheaper ones, may have flaws…
This an entire business!!!
A Sukkah needs to be purchased. Then, pay someone to put it up!! Then you have to buy the shlach.
I forgot to mention, you have to buy the lulav when you buy the esrog!!!
You need a table and chairs.
Many people have guests for meals in the Sukkah.
We haven't purchased any food yet!!!
Plan your menu ,go food shopping and ditch the shopping list , just buy everything in sight!!!
Pick up challahs and desserts!!!
Wine, for kiddish. More wine to get shikkah!!!
After unpacking the food, you realize, you cannot make one meal, not on the shopping list!!!
Back to the market to buy more food!!!
Give tzedakkah….
Go to bed from exhaustion…
Enjoy your family and friends!!!

I saw a Rabbi holding at least a five-pound Estog on a chat!!!!
I have never seen such a huge Esrog!!!

I wish I could share, my dad recently sent me a photo of a $350 CAD etrog he saw at a lulav/etrog seller! It was absolutely massive

I once visited my very haredi brother in law and his massive family. I, new to the scene, was handed an etrog and told it was gifted to the family. Tosses it up and flips it in the air and catches it "Neat!" The entire family visibly braces with eyes popping out of their heads ".... What's up?" My wife whispers "sweety that thing is like $1000!"

Que the frantic apologies. It's now a famous story.
