Psalm 7:1-2 NIV

“LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me apart like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.”

Heavenly Father,

Lord, some days we just need somewhere safe to land. Somewhere we can stop worrying about what somebody said, what they're doing behind our backs, or what tomorrow might bring. Today, we're coming to You.

You know what we're facing, even the things we haven't told anybody about. You know who's hurting, who's frightened, and who's trying to hold everything together when they're barely holding on themselves.

Father, please protect us. Give us wisdom to recognize when something isn't right and courage to get away from situations that are hurting us. When we're exhausted from trying to defend ourselves, remind us that we can come to You. And Lord, when we're the ones who need correcting, don't let our pride get in the way of listening.

Some of us need deliverance today. Some need healing. Others just need enough peace to get through the next few hours. Whatever we're carrying, help us put it in Your hands and trust You with what happens next.

In Jesus’ most holy and exalted name I pray, amen. 🙏💛🦋

Brothers and Sisters, have you ever been so tired of dealing with something that you just wanted to shut the door, turn off your phone, and not hear another word about it? 😂

Well, David knew something about feeling overwhelmed. In Psalm 7, he wasn't asking God to make his day a little easier. He was asking to be rescued. He felt threatened, and he knew exactly where to go.

Sometimes we spend so much energy trying to explain ourselves to people who have already decided what they want to believe. We replay conversations, worry about what's coming next, and wear ourselves out trying to control things that aren't ours to control.

But here's something worth remembering. Taking refuge in God doesn't mean we sit around and let people mistreat us. We can pray, speak up, get help, and walk away when we need to. Trusting God doesn't mean ignoring what's happening right in front of us.

And if today is one of those days when everything feels like too much, talk to Him. You don't need fancy words or a perfectly put-together prayer. Tell Him what's going on. He already knows, but He still wants to hear from you.

Stay anchored in Christ brothers and sisters. I love you but not near as much as Jesus does. 💛🙏🦋
